HCG Cancer Centre Bangalore Hosts Free Cancer Screening & Cervical Cancer Vaccination for Women Police Personnel on International Women’s Day
(MENAFN- Avian We) Bangalore, March 08, 2025: HCG Cancer Centre Bangalore organized a Free Cervical Cancer Vaccination for Women Police Personnel on account of International Women’s Day. The event, aligned with the global theme of 'Accelerate Action' aimed to empower women to take charge of their own health. The event was graced by the presence of Ms Manisha Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, Karnataka, Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited, Shri. B. Dayananda, IPS Commissioner of Police Bangalore City, Shri. Kuldeep Kumar r Jain, IPS Joint Commissioner of Police Admin, Shri Mathi Padmini Saho, IPS DCP Admin and Dr. Abhilasha Narayan, Sr. Consultant- Gynae Oncology, HCG Cancer Centre, KR Road, Bangalore.
With over 250 participants from the women police force, the event brought together a vibrant community united in the fight against cancer. The initiative focused on providing vital healthcare services to women in law enforcement, with key offerings including Cervical Cancer Vaccine, PAP Smear Test and Breast Examination.
Shri. B. Dayananda, IPS Commissioner of Police Bangalore city, said “It is commendable that HCG Cancer Centre has taken the initiative to offer such crucial healthcare services to our women police personnel. These women play an essential role in maintaining law and order in the city, and prioritizing their health is key to ensuring they continue their work effectively. Early detection of these conditions is crucial for effective treatment, and our goal today was to empower these women with the knowledge and tools to take action.
