
Iran, Türkiye Call For Efforts To Stop Israeli Attacks On Gaza, Lebanon
In a phone call yesterday, the two sides discussed the latest developments in the West Asia region, especially the situation in Palestine, the resumption of Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, the U.S. airstrikes on Yemen, as well as, other international issues of common interest, according to a statement released by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
Araghchi condemned Israel's“crimes and aggression against Gaza and Lebanon,” in violation of the ceasefire agreements with Hamas and Hezbollah, calling on the international community, particularly the Muslim and regional countries, to take immediate actions to stop Israeli“crimes.”
Araghchi also denounced the U.S. airstrikes against Yemen, stressing the importance of further cooperation and coordination among the regional countries to prevent“aggression against Muslim countries and the escalation of insecurity and instability in the West Asia region.”
Fidan, for his part, underscored the importance of the Muslim countries' greater attention to the situation of the“oppressed” Palestinian people.
He expressed his country's readiness to find diplomatic solutions to regional and international issues.– NNN-IRNA
