"I am thrilled about our new partnership with the Hearing Aid Project, where someone's old hearing aids can truly make a big difference in another person's life," said Dr. Leslie Soiles, Chief Audiologist, HearingLife. "Changes in hearing, lifestyles, or advances in technology lead people to get a new pair of hearing aids. By donating their old hearing aids, patients can help others with hearing loss embrace life again."

To celebrate the partnership, HearingLife donated over 1,000 previously owned hearing aids at launch to the charity. Now, HearingLife is accepting donations for any brand, make, or model of used hearing aids and hearing aid accessories, such as unexpired batteries, unopened cleaning supplies, chargers, TV adapters and other accessories can also be donated.

"We're grateful to partner with an organization that is committed to providing not just their own clients with the gift of hearing but working to ensure as many people as possible hear better," said Jason E. Camis, IOM, Executive Director, Hearing Aid Project and Sertoma. "Even one device can give someone else the gift of hearing and improve a person's quality of life. So many positive things happen with a donation; unused hearing aids are diverted from landfills, but most importantly, the donation helps others hear."

HearingLife encourages anyone dropping off a donation to also book a free hearing test. HearingLife customers have access to complimentary services from a licensed hearing care provider including a hearing assessment, 30-day risk-free hearing aid trial, an extensive AfterCare program providing device cleaning, fitting, adjustments, and repairs, OnDemand after-hours support, plus loss and replacement coverage.
