The song began to take shape after listening to beats TrizO crafted. Unaware of her singing talent, TrizO encouraged her to write and record.

"The next day I realized TrizO sent me one of his beats to listen to," CEGIE says. "I called him and said, 'That sounds really good!' I began humming to it in a melody, and then it all happened so fast. He told me, 'You're going to the studio and start writing to that beat.' He put me to work with G Loc, and we recorded the song together."

"I have known CEGIE for over 15 years and had no idea she could sing," TrizO says. "This is her first recording and first professional release. I've known G Loc for many years too. He took her to a studio in Toronto, recorded the song, and the rest is history."
