GCC Chief Offers Condolences To Kuwait Over Martyrdom Of Two Army Personnel

RIYADH, Feb 19 (KUNA) -- Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Al-Budaiwi has extended sincere condolences to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to Kuwaiti government and people on the martyrdom of two army personnel Wednesday during a military drill.
In a statement, Al-Budaiwai also extended his heartfelt condolences to families of the martyrs and wished the wounded speedy recovery.
Earlier, Minister of Defense mourned the martyrs of duty Major Sergeant Ahmad Farhan Harat and Sergeant Musaad Dhahi Saleh, who died Wednesday evening during a night shooting exercise with live ammunition.
The Army's Chief of the General Staff also mourned the martyrs Harat and Saleh and announced that Corporal Anwar Khalaf Radwan and Corporal Mutlaq Mohammad Mubarak were also injured in the same exercise.
It noted that a probe was launched into the incident. (end)
