Kazakhstan President Visits Jordan Museum In Amman

Amman, Feb. 19 (Petra) - Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Wednesday visited the Jordan Museum in Ras al-Ein district of Amman, accompanied by His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein and its Deputy Chairman, Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan.
Touring the museum's venues, its director, Ihab Amarin, briefed Tokayev on 1, 5 million years of human presence and historical legacy on Jordan's land extending from the Paleolithic era to the present time by displaying exhibits in their historically designed halls.
Tokayev also inspected archaeological artifacts, mainly Ain Ghazal statue, which is one of the world's "oldest" human body and other "valuable" historical discoveries, as well as models of human innovation and creativity designed to confront life and environmental challenges.
President Tokayev also checked exhibits from various historical periods that thrived in Jordan over various historical eras.
Concluding the visit, Tokayev wrote a word in the guest book, expressing happiness at viewing the museum's artifacts that tell the story of Jordan's ancient history.
Minister of Investment, Muthanna Gharaibeh, and head of the honorary mission, accompanied Tokayev during his visit.
