Al-Balooshi, Ahmed And Nasser Al-Kuwari Shine In Qatar Off-Road Championship

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The opening round of the Qatar Off-Road Championship (QORC), featuring both cars and bikes, concluded on a high note with thrilling action. In the Class 1 & Overall Bikes category, seasoned rider Mohammad al-Balooshi clinched the top spot, closely followed by Alex McInnes and Thomas Cross in second and third positions respectively. Meanwhile, in the Quads (Class 2), Abdulaziz Ahli prevailed over Nasser al-Abdulla. The Veteran Class was won by Steven Holt. On four-wheelers, Class 1 (Cars) Ahmed and Nasser al-Kuwari stormed to victory, while Camelia Liparoti and Syndiely Wade claimed the second spot. In Class 2 (Cars), Ahmad Allouh and Tamer Issa Alhijazeen secured the win, while Nouef Hassan al-Sowaidi with co-driver Aisvydas Paliukenas came second. Alexander Whyatt and Baptiste Cerrato secured the third place. Jafar Majed Alqahtani and Hussam Atiah Alzahranni won Class 3 (Cars), capping an exciting round of off-road action. The Championship returns on April 18-19 for the second round.
