Trump says meeting with Putin is happening soon
(MENAFN) United States Leader Donald Trump stated on Sunday that his anticipated gathering with his Russian peer Vladimir Putin held in Saudi Arabia "could be very soon."
Trump informed reporters, "It could be very soon. It'll be soon."
He mentioned that Putin desires to stop the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
"I think he wants to stop fighting. I see that. We spoke long and hard," Trump said.
Trump has stated that Ukrainian Leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy desires to stop the conflict as well.
"We're moving along. We're trying to get a peace with Russia-Ukraine, and we're working very hard on it. It's a war that should have never started," he emphasized.
On February 12, Trump talked with Putin and Zelenskyy on the phone in an attempt to stop the Ukraine war.
