Ed Sheeran Reveals Next 'Play' Amid India Tour, Says 'He Never Finished High School' Netizens React

(MENAFN- Live Mint) Ed Sheeran, who wrapped up his India tour on February 15, recently teased fans by revealing the title of his upcoming album on Instagram.

The album title was revealed when the singer responded to a post on the @memezar page, which shared a photo mentioning a fan's comment: "Ed Sheeran recently changed his profile picture, guys! What math is he gonna do next?" The page captioned the post saying,“Can't wait for Quadratic Formula.”

Responding to the post, the 'Shape of You' singer wrote,“Irony is if you ask me anything maths related I would fail the question, I never finished high school Play coming soon though.”

Social media users reacted as the singer casually revealed the title of his next album. On this some users expressed excitement while some others pointed out that the album was still missing elements like the square root and power, though they mentioned that "Power" would make a great album title.

The 'Perfect' singer completed his India tour with his last concert in Delhi on February 15. During his entire tour, several moments have become memorable right from him singing with Shilpa Rao to jamming with AR Rahman on a mashup of 'Shape of You' and 'Urvashi Urvashi.' British pop star also enjoyed a scooter ride with Arijit Singh in Bengal. The video of the two singers wading through the busy streets of Murshidabad had gone viral online. Ed Sheeran had collaborated with Arijit Singh at a show in London last year. In Bengaluru, the singer won over his audience by performing with singer Shilpa Rao on“Chuttamalle” from Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer film Devara. In Bengaluru, the singer also surprised his fans with an impromptu street performance on Church Street in Bengaluru which was abruptly stopped by the police.
