Ukraine's General Staff Confirms Strike On Saratov Oil Refinery
The General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces reported this on facebook , according to Ukrinform.
The refinery primarily produces gasoline, fuel oil, and diesel -- over 20 types of petroleum products in total -- and plays a role in supplying the Russian army.
The General Staff confirmed the strike, stating that a fire broke out at the site.
The extent of the damage is still being assessed.
Ukrinform previously reported that a group of drones had again attacked an oil refinery in Saratov, Russia, on the night of February 11.
