(MENAFN- Khaama Press) Hojat Sedighi, the public prosecutor of Taybad in Khorasan Razavi province, Iran, has announced that 250 undocumented Afghan migrants, who had been trapped in heavy snow and storms in the border regions, have been rescued and deported.

According to the public prosecutor of Taybad, Khorasan Razavi province, around 1,400 Afghan migrants have been detained and deported by security forces since the beginning of the year while attempting to enter Iran illegally through the Dogharoun border.

Meanwhile, in recent months, the process of expelling and detaining Afghan migrants from Iran and Pakistan has intensified, with hundreds of individuals entering these countries daily.
