Brad Macafee Joins KAOH Media As CEO

(MENAFN- PRovoke) ST. LOUIS - renewable energy-focused KAOH media has named former Porter Novelli CEO Brad MacAfee the agency's chief executive as part of a larger leadership restructuring.

MacAfee joins KAOH after spending the last four-plus years running his own firm, Mission + Cause, which offered recruiting and advisory services to purpose-driven companies. Before that, MacAfee spent nearly 20 years with Porter Novelli, including four as CEO. He left Porter Novelli at the end of 2019.

KAOH co-founders Allan Hug and Kelly O'Neil will be shifting to new roles in conjunction with MacAfee's appointment. Hug, formerly CEO, will now serve as chief growth & innovation officer, with a focus on driving agency growth and the development of new offerings. O'Neil, currently president, will now be president & chief client officer, responsible for overseeing the agency's talent, approach and services.

“Recently marking its first decade of bringing 'good energy' to the world, KAOH Media has now reached an expansion point where bringing additional seasoned executive agency leadership to the team is a logical step to help us move to the next level,” Hug said.“In Brad we have found the ideal mix of deep experience, wisdom and clear vision that can help guide us to new opportunities as we continue to serve our utility-scale renewable energy clientele in local host communities and support all aspects of the clean energy transition.”
