Black Sea Update: Russian Missile Carrier Spotted On Combat Duty


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) There is a single Russian warship deployed in the Black Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Navy on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.

"There is a single enemy warship in the Black Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo of up to four missiles; there are no enemy warships in the Sea of ​​Azov," the post reads.

According to the Ukrainian Navy, there are currently six enemy warships in the Mediterranean Sea, including two Kalibr carriers with a total salvo of up to 22 missiles.

As part of the Kerch Strait navigation monitoring, the Ukrainian Navy saw Russia allow six vessels cross into the Black Sea, including five that proceeded toward the Bosphorus Strait; and seven ships – into the Sea of Azov, including six coming from the Bosphorus Strait.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the government of Panama has agreed to exempt ships belonging to the United States government from fees for passage through the Panama Canal.
