Kuwait's 19Th Relief Plane Arrives In Syria With 10 Tons Of Aid


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DAMASCUS, Feb 5 (KUNA) -- The 19th Kuwaiti relief plane arrived at Damascus International Airport Wednesday, carrying 10 tons of aid, organized by the Al-Salam Association for Humanitarian and Charitable Works in coordination with Kuwait's Ministries of Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense, with support from Kuwait Air Force.
The "Kuwait is by Your Side" campaign continues its humanitarian efforts, providing essential aid to the Syrian people through Kuwait's air bridge.
The assistance includes food supplies such as flour, dates, rice, and oil, as well as blankets, winter clothing, gloves, medical supplies, ambulances and wheelchairs.
Upon arrival, the Syrian Arab Red Crescent receives the aid at Damascus International Airport, sorts the supplies, and distributes them via its trucks to storage facilities.
So far, 535 tons of aid have been delivered to Syria through Kuwait's air bridge, distributed by Kuwaiti charities, organizations, and official entities. (end)
