AC Milan signs Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord

(MENAFN) AC Milan has officially confirmed the permanent signing of Santiago Tomás Gimenez from Feyenoord Rotterdam. The 23-year-old Mexican striker has agreed to a contract with the club that runs until June 30, 2029, as announced by the Italian football club on Monday. This marks a significant move for both Gimenez and AC Milan as they strengthen their attacking options for the future.

Before joining Feyenoord, Gimenez had an impressive career with CD Cruz Azul in Mexico, where he made 105 appearances and netted 21 goals. During his time at Cruz Azul, he won the Copa MX and the Supercopa MX, establishing himself as a key player for the team. His move to Feyenoord further expanded his accolades, including winning the Eredivisie title, the KNVB Cup, and the Johan Cruyff Shield in the Netherlands.

During his time at Feyenoord, Gimenez built on his reputation by scoring 65 goals in 105 appearances, showcasing his ability to perform at a high level in European football. His performances in the Dutch league helped him earn this permanent transfer to one of Italy's top clubs.

Gimenez will wear the iconic number 7 shirt at AC Milan, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a strong goal-scoring record to help lead the club’s attack for the coming years.
