KUWAIT, Feb 3 (KUNA) -- Representative of His Highness the Prime Minister sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Information, Culture, and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi inaugurated on Monday the 30th Al-Qurain Cultural Festival with a concert titled "From Kuwait."
The launch of this year's Qurain Festival coincides with the start of national celebrations and the Kuwait Capital of Culture and Arab media 2025 activities, which reflect Kuwait's role in supporting Arab culture, explained Al-Mutairi during his speech.
Kuwait is a pioneer in supporting cultural initiatives and creative projects that strengthen its position at the Arab and international levels, launching several Arab magazines alongside other creative cultural projects.
Al-Mutairi stressed the keenness of the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) to continue supporting thought, creativity, and cultural exchange that highlight Kuwaiti culture, art, and history.
The festival's activities will continue until February 12, and will combine arts, music, literature, and intellectual seminars. (end)
