Iran launches gas projects for citizens

(MENAFN) The managing director of the National Iranian gas Company (NIGC), Saeed Tavakoli, revealed that 3,984 gas supply and development projects will be launched across Iran in celebration of the Ten-Day Dawn, which runs from January 31 to February 10, marking the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. Tavakoli highlighted that these projects aim to significantly expand gas infrastructure in cities, villages, and underdeveloped areas, ensuring that all citizens have access to natural gas, with a focus on social justice.

Tavakoli further emphasized that the development of gas supply systems to less developed regions is a key priority of these initiatives, aiming to improve living conditions and energy access throughout the country. The projects reflect a broader effort to achieve equity in the distribution of resources, particularly in the energy sector.

In addition to the gas supply projects, Tavakoli announced the launch of a state-of-the-art data center, which will also begin operation during the Ten-Day Dawn. He stated that the data center has been built with the highest standards of data management and is supported by the expertise and skills of Iranian professionals in the field of information and communication technology.

The introduction of this advanced data center marks a significant step in enhancing the country’s digital infrastructure, leveraging domestic capabilities to improve efficiency and support technological advancements across Iran.
