Shop Qatar 2025 Concludes With Grand Closing Ceremony, Final Raffle Draw


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Visit Qatar marked the successful conclusion of Shop Qatar 2025 with a closing ceremony featuring an array of activities, including a live musical performance by artist Aziz Maraka, a meet and greet with Spacetoon characters, as well as interactive games and competitions, and the announcement of the final raffle draw winners.
Staggering numbers at this year's edition can be evident in the QR120mn spent in the duration of the festival, with an increase of 50% from the previous year, a statement said. Prizes with over QR2.5mn, across 5,000 participating retailers totalling 592,000 coupons distributed.
The celebrations also included a unique competition sponsored by Al Ahli Bank, where 10 winners received QR1,000 each.
A total of nine shoppers walked away with cash prizes, along with one grand prize – A Tesla Cybertruck won by Stephie Julie (voucher number 0105464).
The other winners of the final raffle draw are: Fadda Dehmeesh (0347704) - QR100,000; Hanan Mansour (0364992) -QR50,000; Amna Nasser al-Suwaidi (0336835) - QR30,000; Sivakumar Chinnathambi (0370056) - QR20,000; Abdulrahman al-Mulla (0605612) - QR20,000; Jojo Escalona (0598748) - QR10,000; Muttaz al-Shalhoub (0601778) - QR10,000; Fadi Mustafa (0423496) - QR10,000.

At the conclusion of the festival, the retail and mall awards ceremony honoured participating shopping malls, brands, and teams for their contributions to the success of this year's edition. Awards were presented in several categories, including Best Mall, won by Place Vendome; Highest Participation, awarded to Doha Festival City; Best Branding, received by Doha Festival City; and Best Retailer, won by LuLu Hypermarket, Al Khor. Additionally, several mall employees from across the country were recognised for their dedication and active participation throughout the festival.
This year, Shop Qatar 2025 provided an exceptional mix of discounts, promotions, and raffle draws that captivated shoppers. For every QR200 spent at participating malls, shoppers received a voucher to enter the weekly raffles, where they had the chance to win five luxury cars and cash prizes.
In total, four lucky winners each took home QR100,000, four others received QR50,000, an additional four winners claimed QR30,000, eight were awarded QR20,000, and twelve won QR10,000.
Alongside the exciting prizes, the festival offered a diverse range of entertainment, from family-friendly activities to musical performances and festive events. Shoppers were also able to enjoy significant discounts at 19 participating malls.
