Oneunited Bank Launches First-Time Homebuyer Program In Celebration Of MLK Jr. Day 2025

(MENAFN- PR Newswire) OneUnited Bank recognizes the historical and current obstacles to homeownership faced by people of color and aims to address this inequality by participating in the Lift Up Homeownership Program. Qualifications for borrowers include income requirements (no more than 120% of area median income), the completion of a HUD approved homebuyer education course and a borrower contribution of at least $1,000. OneUnited Bank also offers $1,500 to be used for appraisal, credit report and other lender fees. Other qualifications apply.

OneUnited Bank offers home loans in Boston, Los Angeles, Miami and surrounding areas where it has branch locations. As an Equal Housing Lender, it coordinates with other down payment assistance programs, so everyone is encouraged to apply for a home loan.
