RIYADH, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- GCC Secretary General Jassem Al-Budaiwi on Wednesday congratulated Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud on winning the hosting of the world cup (FIFA 2034).
The GCC secretary general affirmed in a statement that choosing the kingdom to host the world championship affirms its high-esteem international stature and its exceptional capacities to organize such a grand sports event. (end)
