UAE President, King Of Jordan Discuss Developments In Syria


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI, Dec 11 (KUNA) -- President of the United Arab Emirates sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed Wednesday with visiting King of Jordan Abdullah II bin Al Hussein the latest developments in Syria.
They reaffirmed their countries' consistent stance in support of Syria's unity, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, while emphasizing the importance of safeguarding its national institutions, the UAE news agency (WAM) reported.
They also expressed their commitment to supporting initiatives that align with the aspirations of the Syrian people, underscoring the importance of Syria's stability to the region and the Arab world.
Both leaders also stressed the need to intensify efforts to bolster regional stability and prevent the escalation of conflicts in the region.
They also touched upon bilateral relations and efforts to strengthen them. (end)
