Kuwaiti Week In Egypt Aims At Boosting Cooperation

CAIRO, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- A number of Kuwaiti entities participating in the 19th Kuwaiti Week in Egypt on Wednesday, asserted importance of this year's event due to the size and diversity of participations from both countries, as well as their role in enhancing cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Ministry of Information participated with a large pavilion for the external media sector, which included a number of its publications and publications, which varied between paper and digital, and aimed to introduce the Egyptian public to the latest purposeful publications.
Alaa Al-Mutawa, the person in charge of the Ministry of Information's pavilion, told KUNA that the aim of this participation is to introduce the Egyptian public to the recent achievements in the field of Kuwaiti media, culture and folk arts, in addition to exchanging experiences and information with other participating entities.
She considered that the participation of the Ministry of Information in this event comes as an affirmation of the importance of cultural and media exchange between the two countries.
Al-Mutawa pointed to the publications displayed in the pavilion, which varied between publications from the "Babtain Central Library", the "Kuwait Research and Studies Center" and the "Red Crescent Society."
Regarding the participation of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Oil, Mohammad Al-Nafisi from the Public Relations Department said in a similar statement to KUNA that their participation aims to shed light on the achievements of the ministry and the progress it has achieved in artificial intelligence and complete digital transformation, noting that the paper era has ended in the Ministry of Oil and correspondence has become via the Internet and modern technology.
He added that this participation aims to exchange information and ideas with the Egyptian side in the oil sector to gain experiences between the two sides.
Regarding the participation of the Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC), the company's regional director Abdulaziz Al-Moussawi said that the participation comes as an affirmation of its commitment to enhancing cooperation with the Egyptian petroleum sector and expanding its exploration activities in Egypt.
He added that this participation also comes within the framework of enhancing bilateral cooperation between Egypt and Kuwait in the fields of industry, oil and investment, stressing the depth of relations between the two countries in all fields, praising the broad participation of Kuwaiti bodies and institutions.
