Iran’s diplomat holds talks about impacts of situations in Syria

(MENAFN) In Ankara, Iran’s senior diplomat stated he had had “straightforward” talks with his colleague Hakan Fidan. “The ramifications of such a volatile situation will certainly affect everyone, notably Syria’s neighbors,” Araghchi stated throughout a mutual media summit after the gathering.

He further noted that the goal of the new terror insurrection in Syria is to diverge international attention from the violence of Israel in Palestine as well as Lebanon. “Takfiri terrorist groups active in Syria are in close contact and coordination with the United States and the Zionist regime.”

The Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) terrorist group originated primarily in Idlib and areas of Latakia started sudden strikes on Aleppo on Wednesday, at the meantime, a ceasefire among Lebanon’s Hezbollah Resistance Movement and Israel was enforced following 14 months of cross-border fire.

Proofs and releases reveal Turkey has backed the HTS and its partnered factions somehow, which is an accusation the Turkish foreign minister did not mention throughout the Monday media summit. He, nonetheless, stated that the capital of Turkey has always backed and will keep backing Syria’s “territorial integrity and national sovereignty”.
