Ukraine Exports Over 18M T Of Grain This Year

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine has exported 18.380 million tonnes of grains and legumes since the beginning of 2024/2025 marketing year (MY).

That is according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food with reference to the data provided by the State customs Service, Ukrinform reports.

In the 2024/2025 MY, as of December 2, Ukraine exported 8.994 million tonnes of wheat (5.925 million tonnes last year), 1.862 million tonnes of barley (876 thousand tonnes), 10.8 thousand tonnes of rye (0.9 thousand tonnes) and 7.214 million tonnes of corn. (6.467 million tonnes).

Over the reporting period, Ukraine exported 31.7 thousand tonnes of flour (against 50.4 thousand tonnes for the same period last year).

As reported, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has updated its forecast of the balance of major crops for the 2024/2025 marketing year, maintaining the production and export of Ukrainian corn and wheat at their previous levels.
