Turkic States Need To Tap Into Potential Of Middle Corridor - Kazakh President

Strengthening transport and logistics ties within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is a key priority, said Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his address at the 11th Summit of OTS Heads of State in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.

Tokayev underlined the significance of fully utilizing the Trans-Caspian International transport Route (TITR, or Middle Corridor), which he said to be strategically significant for the future economic growth of the Turkic world.

"Therefore, it is essential to conclude an agreement that will guarantee the sustainable development of freight transit along this route. I anticipate that the member nations will endorse this initiative," Tokayev added.
