Azerbaijan's Insurance Companies Update On Voluntary Medical Insurance Collections

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 25. Insurance
companies in Azerbaijan have announced the volume of collections
for voluntary medical insurance for the period from January through
September 2024.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan indicates that the companies collected approximately 765.4 million manat ($450 million) in insurance premiums during the reporting period.
The collections for voluntary insurance saw a growth of 12 percent compared to the same period last year.
Additionally, during the reporting period, the companies made payouts totaling around 454.8 million manat ($267.4 million), reflecting an increase of 42 percent over the previous year.
