Germany Optimistic About Swift Peace Agreement Between Azerbaijan, Armenia

Germany is optimistic about the prompt signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Deputy Head of the Business Mission at the German Embassy in Baku, Heiko Schwarz, said at an information event titled "Innovations in Railroad Technology in Azerbaijan: Partnerships and Opportunities for German Companies," Trend reports.

“We are closely monitoring the peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan with interest and anticipation. In Germany, we hope for a swift agreement. Practically speaking, this would also benefit businesses. Just imagine the new transport routes that would open and the momentum this could generate for the region's development,” he said.

To note, the event is organized as a part of a business trip to Azerbaijan for a delegation of German entrepreneurs by the AHK Azerbaijan on October 21-25, 2024.
