Azerbaijan Aims To Utilize AI Capabilities To Accelerate Country's Economic Growth - C4IR

It is planned to utilize artificial intelligence capabilities to accelerate the growth of Azerbaijan's economy by 2045, the executive director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the IV Industrial Revolution (C4IR) Fariz Jafarov said at the first Eurasian Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in Azerbaijan, organized at ADA University, Trend reports.

“We want to utilize the potential of AI to accelerate Azerbaijan's economic development by 2045. According to estimates of international organizations and companies, the country's economy can receive $4.4 billion through the application of AI,” he noted.

According to him, Azerbaijan plans to launch the Digital Twin program, which will generate a large amount of data. This data will enable the government, society, and businesses to make better decisions through the use of a data-driven approach.

Jafarov noted that a special support program will also be implemented for 650 enterprises undergoing digital transformation.

The forum, organized for the first time in Azerbaijan, is attended by professors from renowned universities from eight countries.

The event plans to discuss innovative ideas in the fields of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science.

The forum has gathered leading scientists from around the world, as well as experts specializing in the theory of artificial intelligence, the development of new methods, and the application of data science in areas such as medicine, cybersecurity, sports, and agriculture.

The Eurasian Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Data Science takes place from October 17 through October 19, 2024.
