Turkmenistan, Russian Astrakhan Region Step Up Transport, Logistics Collaboration

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 27.
Turkmenistan and Russia's Astrakhan region highlighted the broad
opportunities for cooperation in the transport, logistics, and ship
repair industries, Trend reports.
The cooperation was discussed during a meeting between Turkmenistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov and the Vice Governor of the Astrakhan Region Denis Afanasyev.
The parties emphasized the importance of strengthening ties in these key sectors to foster economic cooperation.
In addition to economic matters, the parties also touched upon humanitarian cooperation and discussed the deepening of contacts in the fields of education and culture, reflecting the traditional interest of both sides in developing friendly relations.
