Turkmenistan, Bulgaria Highlight Aspiration To Boost Trade, Economic Partnership


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 19. Turkmenistan and Bulgaria highlighted the priority of further strengthening their trade and economic partnership, Trend reports via the Turkmen Embassy in Russia.

The issue was discussed following the presentation of credentials by Turkmen Ambassador Esen Aydogdyev (based in Moscow) to Bulgarian President Rumen Radev.

The Bulgarian president congratulated Aydogdyev on his appointment and expressed confidence that the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Bulgaria will continue to develop in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and beneficial partnership.

The meeting spotlighted the political and diplomatic dialogue and its role in strengthening relations between the two countries both within international organizations and on a bilateral basis.

Additionally, prospects for expanding cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed.

During the conversation, the parties also noted the important role of the Turkmen-Bulgarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
