
President Of Turkmenistan Holds Meeting With German Businessmen In Astana
According to the media, key areas for future cooperation include renewable energy, transportation and communications, chemicals, textiles, agriculture, the transition to a green economy, as well as innovation and technology.
Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection Michael Kellner expressed the deep interest of German companies in expanding cooperation with Turkmenistan.
He highlighted the successful long-term experience of joint work and favorable conditions for foreign business in Turkmenistan.
President Berdimuhamedov also noted the growing interest in Turkmenistan and the expansion of bilateral cooperation, as demonstrated by the representative composition of the meeting participants.
To note, the second Central Asia - Germany (5+1) summit is taking place in Astana. At the first 5+1 summit, held in Berlin last year, a strategic regional partnership program was signed.
