BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 28. Four people have
been extradited from Russia to Azerbaijan, Trend
reports, referring to the General Prosecutor's Office of
Azerbaijan.
Furthermore, it was noted that following the convention on Legal
Assistance and legal Relations in Civil, Family, and Criminal Cases
of January 22, 1993, the request of the General Prosecutor's Office
of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the extradition of its citizens
Bolayev Farid Rashidovich, Khalilov Samandar, Babayev Panah, and
Mashadiyev Ilham was satisfied by the General Prosecutor's Office
of the Russian Federation.
As significant suspicions were revealed that the above-mentioned
persons had committed criminal acts under the relevant articles of
the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, decisions were
taken to indict them, and they were put on an international wanted
list for evading the investigation.
The mentioned persons were detained in the territory of the
Russian Federation and taken to Azerbaijan on August 23, 2024,
accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the
