IPA CIS Observation Team Ready For Azerbaijan's Parliamentary Election


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. The observation mission of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS), which will monitor the extraordinary parliamentary election in Azerbaijan, has been finalized, Trend reports.

According to the "Election 2024” Independent media Center, the mission comprises 19 members.

First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia Andrey Yatskin will lead the mission.

On June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.

The "Election 2024” Independent Media Center was launched by the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
