Baku To Host 'From Village To City' Food Fair


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 26. The Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan will host a“From Village to City” Sunday fair in Baku on July 27-28, Trend reports.

The fair aims to support local farmers by providing them with market opportunities and alternative sales channels, while also offering city residents access to locally produced agricultural products.

Approximately 40 farmers from around 20 regions of Azerbaijan are expected to participate, showcasing about 100 varieties of natural agricultural and food products.

Farmers interested in participating should register by contacting the call center at +994 50 400 88 99.

The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan will oversee product quality. A mobile food laboratory will be available at the fair for citizens to check the quality indicators of any product being sold.

The fair will run from 09:00 to 19:00 each day at 5 Fatali Khan Khoyski Street, Narimanov District, near Ganjlik Metro Station.

Farmers will be provided with stalls, scales, and other necessary supplies and equipment at no cost.
