Khasawneh Opens 38Th Jerash Festival

AMMAN - Deputising for His Majesty King Abdullah, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh on Wednesday inaugurated the 38th Jerash Festival and lit the torch of the annual prestigious celebration, held under the slogan, "The Promise Continues".
Chair of the Festival's Higher Committee and Minister of Culture Haifa Najjar stand,“This evening, we stand on this stage, which symbolises the deep historical, cultural and civilised essence of our nation and the extension of its roots,” the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
