Kuwait Welcomes UN Envoy's Statement On Yemen

KUWAIT, July 24 (KUNA) - Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Wednesday the statement issued by UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg's office on an agreement reached between Yemen's government and Ansarullah group on de-escalation regarding the country's banking sector and airways.
In a statement, the Ministry extolled efforts made by the UN envoy in reaching this deal, terming it as a key step that aimed at reaching a comprehensive solution to Yemen's crisis, in line with the relevant references and international legitimacy resolutions, it added.
This will also help meet aspirations of Yemeni people and put an end to their sufferings, it stated. (end)
