Qatar's Beach Volleyball Team Leaves For Paris

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar national beach volleyball team departed Doha on Saturday, heading to the French capital, Paris, in preparation for their participation in the Olympic Games Paris 2024, from July 26 to August 11.

Team Qatar, consisting of the duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, who won the bronze medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, are now aiming for another milestone achievement at Paris 2024.

Participating in the Olympic Games Paris 2024 will mark Qatar's 3rd consecutive time to feature in the Olympic Games.

Team Qatar will begin its Paris 2024 campaign with a match on July 28 against Italy, comprised of Paolo Nicolai and Samuele Cottafava. The following day, Qatar faces the Swedish team of David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig, then concludes the group stage with a match against Australia's Isaac Kapa and Mark Nicolaidis on August 1.
