(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, July 18 (Petra) - Elia Nuqul Foundation (ENF) and PwC Middle East, one of the largest world companies in providing professional services, on Thursday signed an agreement to expand their partnership to educate and empower youth.
According to a ENF statement, the agreement aims to create "new success stories" by supporting female students opportunities to learn, and develop their skills, to be "active and productive" in society.
Under the agreement, PwC Middle East will cover the tuition fees of female university students who lack economic resources to pursue their campus academic studies and will cover their entire transport expenses on a monthly basis.
The PwC will also enroll beneficiaries in self-development programs under extracurricular training provided by the ENF to develop their capabilities to enter the labor market.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, ENF Board of Trustees Member, Ghassan Nuqul, expressed pride in cooperating with PwC Middle East, valuing the company's support and keenness to contribute to local development, especially in the youth and educational sectors.
For his part, the PwC territory senior partner in Jordan, Michael Orfali, indicated the desire to expand joint cooperation and partnership to cover job training and guidance programs for the ENF's students.
Orfali expressed the company's commitment to work with the ENF to highlight corporate social responsibility and ensure quality of life for the Kingdom's younger generation, especially young women.
"Being a community of workers capable of solving problems, PwC Middle East works under community initiatives to meet people's needs, using our expertise and tools to make a positive and effective impact in communities," he pointed out
