UK Premier, Saudi Crown Prince Discuss Ties, Mideast Situation

LONDON, July 15 (KUNA ) - UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed Monday with Saudi Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Mohammad bin Salman Al-Saud bilateral ties and the latest developments in the Middle East.
In a phone call initiated by the UK Premier, the leaders reflected on the strong relationship between the UK and Saudi Arabia, including through the Strategic Partnership Council, the UK Prime Minister's Office said in a statement.
Turning to the situation in the Middle East, the UK Prime Minister praised the Crown Prince for his leadership to support regional stability and underlined the UK's enduring commitment to peace and security in the region.
The leaders looked forward to working together to strengthen areas of shared interest, including trade, investment and defense cooperation. They looked forward to meeting soon. (end)
