Israeli occupation announces killing of 24 soldiers

(MENAFN) Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli occupation army has reported that 24 of its soldiers were wounded, with 23 of these injuries occurring during fierce battles in Gaza. The Gaza Strip has become a hotspot of intense conflict between resistance forces and the Israeli military.

On Tuesday, violent clashes broke out following a night where resistance forces inflicted significant losses on the Israeli occupation, particularly in the Netzarim axis. In Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released images purporting to show their fighters engaging Israeli forces. According to the Brigades, they successfully destroyed an Israeli tank at close range.

In the Shujaiya neighborhood, the Al-Qassam Brigades reported that they targeted an Israeli unit of 14 soldiers who were holed up in a house, using a TBG shell to cause casualties. Additionally, they attacked an Israeli tank in the neighborhood, resulting in reported deaths and injuries among Israeli soldiers.

The Al-Quds Brigades also announced their involvement, stating that they had killed and injured Israeli forces in a building in Shujaiya. They further reported detonating an explosive device near an Israeli military vehicle close to Al-Salem Mosque.

In a coordinated ambush, the Qassam Brigades targeted another Israeli force with a TGB shell in Shujaiya. As Israeli rescue forces moved forward, they faced additional attacks, including the Al-Yassin 105 shell and the detonation of Saqib and Shawaz bombs in two military vehicles. The Qassam Brigades also shared photos of their targeting of an Israeli Nimr personnel carrier in the neighborhood.

These events highlight the escalating conflict in Gaza, with significant casualties and injuries on both sides. The situation remains highly volatile as the fighting continues, leading to growing concerns over the intensifying violence.
