On 30 June 2013, millions of Egyptians protested against the rule of the late President Mohamed Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, demanding his resignation. The demonstrations culminated in the military's intervention, leading to Morsi's removal and the establishment of a new political direction.
“For 11 years, Egyptians have demonstrated their resilience, proving themselves stronger than their adversaries anticipated,” Al-Sisi emphasized.“They have transformed crises into opportunities through determination and unity.”
