Jordanians Perform Eid Al-Adha Prayer Across Country

Amman, June 16 (Petra)-- Jordanians across the country, on Sunday, performed Eid al-Adha prayer in various mosques and places identified by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
Dr. Ahmed Al-Hasanat, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, gave the Eid sermon at the main prayer hall in the Al-Hussein Youth City, which was designated by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
He discussed the benefits of celebrating Eid, which comes after performing the Hajj.
He praised the courageous actions by the Hashemite leadership and the people of Jordan in supporting and aiding the Palestinian brothers, providing relief for Gaza, and putting an end to the aggression against them.
Al-Hasanat also saluted the good deeds of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness and sacrifices in defending their land, identity, existence, and legitimate right to establish their independent state.
