Kuwait Leadership Keen On Youth Empowerment - Amiri Diwan Advisor

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 5 (KUNA) -- Amiri Diwan advisor Sheikh Faisal Humoud Al-Sabah said Wednesday that the political leadership was keen on empowering youth who were considered a national wealth and the foundation for the advancement of societies.
Sheikh Faisal, in a statement marking the 3rd Gulf Youth Day, said celebrating the Gulf Youth Day reflected the desire of the GCC leaders to invest in the potentials of the youth.
The State of Kuwait, acting upon instructions of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah was paying a great attention to the empowerment of youth who were "the foundation of advancement and construction of the society, and a major element in development," he said.
He called for supporting the initiatives and ideas of the youth, as well as encouraging them to explore their potentials and skills.
Sheikh Faisal commended efforts of the youth authorities in the six Gulf Cooperation Council countries. (end)
