(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 7. Azerbaijan plays acrucial strategic role as a valued partner of Slovakia, said SlovakDeputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy Denisa Saková at thebusiness forum between the countries held in Baku, Trend reports.

She stated that the signing of the double taxation avoidanceagreement in April strengthened the already robust cooperationbetween the two nations.

Saková stated that the existence of such an agreement, as wellas a legal framework of 11 documents, will allow for greater mutualeconomic cooperation.

“Representatives of 37 companies and structures of Slovakia havearrived in Baku. I believe in their productive negotiations duringthis visit,” the deputy prime minister emphasized.

She added that the business forum serves as a productiveplatform for establishing close ties between companies andentrepreneurs of the two countries.
