Ukrainian MFA Welcomes Delimitation Process Between Azerbaijan, Armenia


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 1. The Ministry ofForeign Affairs of Ukraine welcomes the agreement betweenAzerbaijan and Armenia on the delimitation of their state borderbased on the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991, the Foreign Ministrysaid in a statement, Trend reports.

The ministry emphasizes that the delimitation of the borderbetween Azerbaijan and Armenia on the basis of respect forsovereignty and territorial integrity“is a necessary condition fornormalizing relations between countries and ensuring stability andsecurity in the region”.

The ministry said that in the face of threats to the Balticcountries, the Black Sea region, the South Caucasus and CentralAsia, reaching an agreement on the delimitation of the state borderbetween Azerbaijan and Armenia is an additional and importantfactor of stability.
