Uzbekistan Reveals Trade Turnover Volume With Russia For 1Q2024

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 25. Uzbekistan'strade turnover volume with Russia amounted to $2.8 billion fromJanuary through March 2024, Trend reports.

As per data from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, this figure is16.6 percent higher compared to the same period last year ($2.4billion in January-March 2023).

Russia ranks second among the countries with the largest volumeof foreign trade turnover in Uzbekistan. The country's share in thetotal volume of trade turnover in Uzbekistan accounts for 17.7percent.

The volume of exports amounted to $720.9 million, while theimports amounted to $2 billion from January through February2024.

Meanwhile, the trade turnover volume between Uzbekistan andRussia reached $1.7 billion in 2023.

The exports totaled $493.4 million, and the import volumeamounted to $1.2 billion during this period.
