(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 24. Azerbaijan and thecountries of Central Asia are bound together by centuries-old tiesof cooperation, friendship, and interaction, President Ilham Aliyevsaid in a joint press conference with President of Kyrgyzstan SadyrZhaparov, Trend reports.
“Today, the regions of Central Asia and the Caspian, includingAzerbaijan as part of the Caspian region and the South Caucasusregion, are of great importance both in terms of energy resourcesand in terms of transportation routes and trade. Here we see greatpotential,” the head of state underlined.
