(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 17. The UkrainianAmbassador to Azerbaijan Vladyslav Kanevskyi is concluding hisdiplomatic mission, Trend reports via Kanevskyi's Facebookpost.
He reflected on a bright, meaningful, and rewarding period ofdiplomatic action in a quickly developing country that hasreestablished its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to the diplomat, he is returning home with a positivepicture of Azerbaijan and its people.
He also thanked Azerbaijanis for helping him better grasp theircountry's rich history, culture, and traditions.
"Azerbaijanis, you are wonderful! Fate has given me theopportunity to communicate and work with friends from Ukraine andpatriots of my country, true professionals. We have strengthenedthe strategic partnership between our states and created neweffective mechanisms for bilateral cooperation.
I'm proud that during my tenure, institutions representingUkraine in Azerbaijan have been established and ensured theiroperation, such as the Ukrainian Trade House, the HonoraryConsulate of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Center," Kanevskyinoted.
The envoy expressed his satisfaction that the geography ofUkrainian centers, cultural and educational institutions inAzerbaijan has extended, and thanked the Ukrainian community inAzerbaijan for actively supporting the embassy's efforts.
"Today, even more people in Azerbaijan are aware of Ukraine. Ourcountry receives various humanitarian and other assistance, andactive participation is taken in projects for the restoration ofUkraine. It was an honor for me to represent Ukraine in friendlyAzerbaijan!
This was facilitated by the strong support of my family: myinspiring wife, mother, and son gave me strength and confidence tomove forward. Special thanks to our entire diplomatic team," theambassador added.
To note, Kanevskyi has been ambassador to Azerbaijan since2019.
