Azerbaijan's Baku And Russia's St. Petersburg To Co-Work On Digitalization, Transportation

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 4. Baku and St will develop cooperation in the field of digitalizationand transport, the office of St. Petersburg's Governor AlexanderBeglov said, Trend reports.

"Major St. Petersburg businesses are interested in developingrelationships with Azerbaijani partners. Specifically, we advocatedexpanding engagement in the sphere of digital technologies, as St is home to several dozen significant enterprises thatproduce innovative technology. We are prepared to organize businessseminars, round tables, and gatherings of entrepreneurs," thegovernor's press release reads.

Particularly, primary negotiations were held between the Russiancompany Arman, which produces safety equipment used for operationin aggressive environments (oil and gas and chemical industry),high vibration (transportation), and representatives of SOCAR, theAzerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO).
