Qatar Attends Undersecretaries Of Arab Finance Ministries Meeting

Doha, Qatar: The State of Qatar participated in the ninth meeting of Their Excellencies Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Finance in the Arab countries, organized by the Arab Monetary Fund over two days in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Qatar was represented at the meeting by H E Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance. Experts from the IMF, the World Bank and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development also participated in the meeting.
The agenda of the meeting includes a number of topics of importance to Arab countries, including the green economy and the transition to clean and renewable energies, the interaction between fiscal and monetary policies and the impact on economic performance, in addition to the experiences of Arab countries in strengthening social safety networks, in addition to preparing for the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Finance in the Arab countries.
